5th / 6th GRADE* PERMISSION SLIP – DUE 11/17/17
ADVANCED HAND SEWING
PROJECT: Advanced Hand Sewing at MIS (5th and 6th grades only)* - Volunteers welcome – must be in current volunteer database.
WHEN: 2 dates: Monday November 27th & Wednesday November 29th ends at 4 pm - pick up is at car rider line / back doors
WHERE: students will meet in Miss Muehl’s room after school WHAT: Students who sign up are required to attend BOTH sessions. Students will be hand sewing their own designs for this project. Sewing needles, and fluff will be provided. Students will be using metal sewing needles for this project.
TO BRING: Students should come to the first project with ideas/drawings/patterns for first session. Students MUST bring in their own fabrics/supplies for this project.
PARENTS: PROJECT MUST BE LIMITED TO 20 TOTAL STUDENTS. If a high number of slips are turned in, a second set of dates will be made and students who turned in a slip will be placed. Please be sure to turn in permission slips AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
* = STUDENTS MUST KNOW HOW TO HAND SEW TO PARTICIPATE.
