Copan is a popular Mayan ruins site on the western side of the country
The Island of Utila is regarded as one of the top diving spots in all of the Caribbean

4. Special Events Semana Santa- Is a Easter celebration week
Punta Gorda Festival- It takes place on April 12th to celebrate the settlement of Roatan
Feria de San Isidro- Is a Mardi-Gras like festival held in La Ceiba the week before the third Saturday of May
Feria Juniana- Is a festival of music, eating, and drinking in San Pedro Sula during the last week of June

5. Landmarks
Mosquito Coast- A sparsely populated area with a few thousand Miskito people still living there and is home to some of the most diverse and hard to navigate ecosystem
Bay Islands- They are home to the second largest coral reef in the world and are top areas for snorkeling, diving, and sightseeing trips like whale watching
Copan Ruins- They are Mayan ruins on the west side of the country
