4 Contact Information – 1% Add your contact information to every course You MUST use Blackboard's Contacts Tool to create a contact page Make sure you create a link to your contact page somewhere in your course and include the word “contact” in the link

5 Course Materials – 15% Add at least 30 “course materials” to your course. Course Materials = Most things under Blackboard’s Build Content tab Items, Files, Web Links, Learning Modules, Lesson Plans, Content Folders, Module Pages, and Blank Pages. Any documents within content material will also be counted, including: Attached documents Anything added inside a Learning Module NOT counted = Syllabus, Audio, Image, Video and all Mashups

6 Syllabus – 1% Add a syllabus to every course
You MUST use Blackboard's Syllabus Tool Include the word “syllabus” under Syllabus Name

7 Announcements – 4% Post at least 8 announcements for each course

8 Calendar – 2% Add at least 2 events to your calendar for each course (ie, Midterm exam dates and Final exam dates) If you create a test or assignment on Blackboard and set a due date, these will automatically be added to your calendar!

9 Discussion Boards / Journals – 24%
Include at least 5 graded discussion board forums or journal assignments per course in each term Interact with at least 20% of students in each graded discussion/journal forum

10 Grade Center – 18% Create categories that reflect the syllabus
Create 1 column Enter grades in 3 columns for at least 50% of students Create 1 weighted column Generate 1 grade report

11 Assessment – 16% Create 4 assessments using any Assessment Tool
