Christmas 1085 “I want you to go to all the far corners of my kingdom and find out who lives there, who owns the land, and how much they have of everything.” “I want you to bring the information back to me by Easter.” What sorts of problems are you going to face?

6 Now travel round the land and collect the information for the king

7 When you’ve finished collecting information
What patterns can you find? What’s happening with the value of the land? What’s happening with who owns the land? Are there any surprises? Does any land stay in the same hands? Is there a difference depending on where you live?
