10. This is how we will do it.
supply: purchasing fresh produce at 20p in the £
Production: producing thousands of meals per week to feed
School, nurseries and care homes – then using part of the profits to
Push free fresh meals into Good Food Banks
Set up Good Food Hubs – which is our response to re-imagining how meals on wheels can be offered
And last but not least: Local shops – we plan to open 3 stores and then as many as we can – fresh meals will be subsidized and local people who are skint will be able to shop free of charge
And it all stacks up financially and the model is suited to any town any city.
Lets stop change how food poverty is dealt with, lets make sure hungry people are treated with dignity and lets make sure profits are used in a socially motivated way.
