4. What is a Watch Dog?
WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students) began in 1998 in Springdale Arkansas.
Currently, there are 4,049 active WATCH D.O.G.S. schools in 46 states

5. Why is the program important?
Provides the students with a Positive Role Model
Provides our campus with another layer of safety
Provides another arena to involve our stakeholders.

6. How does it work?... Follow your schedule
Safety Walks in the morning and afternoon
Spending time with your kids
Spending time with students (small group or individually)
Helping out in the classroom
Working with individual students.

Wear jeans or shorts comfortable walking shoes
Check in and get your visitor’s pass...See Mary Comer
Check all outside doors to make sure they are locked at all times.
Eat lunch with your kid(s). You are welcome to eat at the guest table.
Use front office for restroom.
Always have more than one in a group with whom you are working.
Stay on NSE campus from 7:45-3:45.
Remember student confidentiality.
