1 People Board Process-Overview of the process
Compensation changes are taken to People Board: For Reward when a salary change, one-off payment or a payment linked to other elements of the reward package e.g. changing bonus plans or allowances, is requested; For Recruitment if the offer is outside of policy and for all new job requisitions, i.e. a brand new role in the current Bupa structure Before a manager submits the request we expect them to have discussed this with their manager in advance. People Board is conducted weekly and the submission must be in Workday by 12pm on Wednesday for that week’s People Board. If it is not submitted by 12pm on Wednesday it will be reviewed at the following week’s People Board. Request Compensation Change – People Board Manager’s Manager Approves the compensation change People Operations Receives a To Do to either update the employee’s contract and/or to create and send a letter to officially notify the employee of the change 6 Off Line 3 5 1 2 4 Manager & Manager’s Manager Discuss need for an ad hoc compensation change for employee (may also be part of another process e.g. recruitment) Manager Initiates task in Workday People Board People Director and Senior leaders review weekly requests in Workday submitted by 12 pm Wednesdays Compensation Partner Approves the compensation change if the change where required Bupa Private and Confidential
