Feb. 26, 2018 Dear Parents, On Tuesday, March 13th, 4th grade classes will travel to Mount Vernon, George Washington’s plantation in Alexandria, VA. We are very excited to be there for an interactive student program, called Colonial Days, and to tour the house and museum. The cost of this field trip is $ Students will need to bring a bagged lunch, a snack, and drink. Please fill out and sign the attached permission form and return it and the money before March 6th. Checks should be made payable to Moorefield Station E.S. EXACT payment of cash is accepted, and online payment is also available for a small fee. We are also looking for 3 chaperones for each class who could help us supervise students. Chaperones will be asked to pay an adult fee of $ Please let us know if you are interested by filling out and returning the slip below ASAP. Classes will hold a chaperone “lottery drawing” on March 2nd. *FUTURA students may choose to attend the field trip in lieu of services. March 13th was our only available date. Ms. Marks has given her permission for students to go to Mount Vernon.
