(pages ) – Focus on what the Treaty of Greenville did (page 199) Answer: The Battle of Fallen Timbers was a victory for the United States which forced Native Americans to accept the United States peace terms. The Treaty of Greenville, Native American leaders ceded, gave, most of the present state of Ohio to the US government; they also opened the Northwest Territory to settlement.
