There will be other volunteers on the trip who are to be confirmed nearer the time. All of them will be adults the children are familiar with.

5 “Are we there yet?!” Tuesday 8.30 – Arrive at school as normal
Prepare to depart We will transport your children to and from Caldecotte Arrive at Caldecotte Xperience and let the fun begin! Unpack and sort our rooms Eat lunch – Please bring a packed lunch, that is easily disposable and labelled.

6 Arrival and Sleeping Arrangements
Boy and girl rooms Friends will be kept together where possible and suitable (groups decided nearer the time) Welcome and introduction Straight into our first activities Rooms must be kept tidy! Bedtime issues Rooms are separated into boy and girls rooms and all rooms will have signs on the door listing whose room is whose. Friends will be kept together where possible and suitable and organised by the Caldecotte Staff team nearer the time. Bedtime issues – any concerns about bedtimes that may be had can be detailed on the forms which will be shared later. Rest assured however that all concerns of any kind are dealt with very well and appropriately by the team – supported amongst other things by our knowledge of the children.

7 What will we be doing? 13 challenging and adventurous activities, including raft building, sailing, bush craft, caving, orienteering, abseiling and archery! We will be developing our teamwork skills, building confidence and independence and having fun! Share preferences requested!

8 Food & Diet Requirements
At the end of this meeting you will be given a parent pack. Please detail any food/diet requirements. Self-serve breakfast. Packed lunch each day. 2 course dinner Bedtime hot chocolate and biscuit

9 Packing for Caldecotte…
See Parent Pack! What not to bring. Please don’t bring: Electrical devices – computer games & cameras. Jewellery / valuables. Aerosol deodorants. No mobile phones – no news is good news! Please label everything.

10 Parent Pack… Overview and Kit List
Main form – Contact information, allergies, bedtime routine/any other information! Please don’t leave anything out. Parent Info & slides will be added to the website.
