1. Individual Directions
In class, divide up the “Need to Know” subtopics.
Learn about your Subtopic:
Sources: use the 20’s and 30’s power point, Google classroom CHART, Who Activities and textbooks to “Learn” about your subtopic.
Open the “Learn” template on my web page.
Follow step by step directions on what needs to be included on each slide.

2. “L”: Learn it and teach the class (Slide #1) 30 pts
Directions for “L” Slide
Only use pictures and Video Links on your “L” slide to teach your students.
USE Video links: Safari videos, Study.com, Video Blocks or Gale US History Library Sources link
USE Video links: History channel/You Tube/about.com
To link a video in power point: Click insert, click Hyperlink: copy and paste your link here.
Think about what you will say about your pictures to the class. Make a note card of what you want to say.
You should not have to say much, your pictures and video clips should teach your students/classmates what they need to know.

3. “L”: Learn it and teach the class (Slide #1) 30 pts
Create your SUBTOPIC “L” slide using only video links and pictures.

4. “E”: Educate with a Study guide 30 pts (Slide #2)
Create your SUBTOPIC “E” slide. This is what my student’s/classmates should know about my subtopic: Include subtopic Dictionary words and their definitions.

5. “A”: Active Learning (Slide #3) 20 pts
Create your SUBTOPIC “A” slide. Create an 1 Activity to help your students/classmates understand your subtopic. Type idea here, create it and hand to Ms. Z.

6. “R”: Resources: What sources did you use to create your “L” slide
“R”: Resources: What sources did you use to create your “L” slide? (Slide #4) 10 pts
Create your SUBTOPIC “R” slide. Use a MLA citation Machine like to create a list of sources used on subtopic “L” slide.

Next, shrink list and move to your “L” slide.

7. “N”: Now I know it DILI (Slide #5) 10 pts
Create your SUBTOPIC “N” slide.
Write (2) DILI (Did I Learn it) questions/answers on your subtopic. Look at “E” slide for ideas.

8. Google Docs: Go to Google Drive
Log in: Password:
When done with your individual, subtopic Power Point erase all directions and save to your Google Drive as slides.
Double check are your “L” and “R” slide combined?
