1 Response to Intervention Implementation 2014-2015
Old Bridge Public Schools

2 RTI Implementation in Old Bridge
Current System RTI: Goal Our identification system (I&RS) and our intervention programs (ASP/EAP) run independently of each other. RTI combines our identification system and our intervention service programs into one cohesive unit. Summative assessment for decision making.. Universal screening to identify student strengths and weaknesses early on; Appropriate use of assessment tools (highly predictive, valid and reliable). “Trial and error” approach when developing, implementing and monitoring I&RS plans. Baselines for target skills are not usually established. Appropriate use of data to guide instructional decisions such as intervention plans and flexible grouping.

3 RTI Implementation in Old Bridge
Current System RTI: Goal 1-2 tiers of service. Multiple tiers of service with each building onto the previous one. Little opportunity for collaboration among teachers and interventionists; Teachers with specialized training do not have the opportunity to provide peer coaching. Collaborative RTI Data Team meetings will be implemented and held on a monthly basis. There is a lack of continuity of services between buildings. All buildings will be using the same system, tools, and database. Interventionists will collaborate on a departmental level.
