6 Current Exemption Request
The United States Army Joint Munitions Command (JMC) is responsible for the safe and compliant disposition of depleted uranium (DU) metal contained in 30mm munitions The munitions are being stored at the Tooele Army Depot in Utah (1 hour drive to Clive) and the Crane Army Ammunition Activity facility in Indiana The U.S. Army will begin disassembling the munitions immediately upon award of a contract
