Stress Stress is a reaction or response as a result of physical, mental or emotional tension Conflicting demands or pressure in the workplace can trigger or influence stress levels and usually occurs when life pressures exceed our ability to cope Chronic stress increases the risk of destructive behaviour, anxiety, depression and other mental health problems

Stress Stress can have a negative impact on productivity and affect relationships in the workplace with colleagues as a result of increased anxiety, trouble concentrating and insomnia Recognising the signs of Stress is the first step to building resilience Following these simple strategies can help improve your wellbeing and ability to respond to stress

1. Learn to Relax Take a few minutes each day to find calm and peace
Practice deep breathing exercises From your desk stand up, walk around and stretch
