2. Your Task Logic Puzzle:
Find the sequence (order) of colored salt solutions that will form clear layers
Can only test 2 solutions at a time

3. Materials
1 box with:
Straws (1 for each pair)

4. Materials 1 box with: Straws (1 for each pair)
White bases (1 for each pair)

5. Materials 1 box with: Straws (1 for each pair)
White bases (1 for each pair)
Container with 4 pipettes and 4 colors of salt solution (shared by the pairs)

5-10 drops of each liquid

No layers were formed, so we color in one of the ‘straws’ on the page with the combination, and then “x” it out.

11. Clean Up Put the straws back in the box.
Take the tray over to the sink
Dump out the white plastic base
Rinse the base
Dry it off
Put everything back into the box
Carefully put on the lid (try to not to smoosh the pipette tops
Bring the box up front.
