Happy Constitution Day! Please ask your son or daughter what they learned about the Constitution during social studies today!
This week we are finishing our work with the story, “My Family.” We will take our spelling test on Thursday and our reading tests on Friday. Please watch for normal homework assignments to come home this week.
I will be at a professional development meeting this Wednesday. Mrs. Nolan is scheduled to be our substitute. She taught 2nd grade at Whipple for many years, so I’m sure the kids will have a great day with her!
Please check folders this week for conference information. On-line scheduling for fall conferences should be starting this week. I do like to meet with everyone in the fall, so please remember to schedule a time. If you do not have internet access, please send in a note or call me and I can schedule the conference for you. I look forward to meeting with all of you!
