Presentation 2 Elaborated ITU strategic direction to cyber security. Highlighted need for relevant International legislations. Discussed ITU initiative IMPACT on curbing cyber threats. Highlighted the challenges and core security recommendations of ITU Colombo, Sri Lanka, 7-10 April 2009

Highlighted the need for migration to IPV6. Stressed the need for national IPV6 roadmap. Elaborated success story of Malaysia to implement IPV6. Emphasized role of stake holders and regulators to implement IPV6 national policy . Presentation 4 Emphasized different regulatory approach in NGN environment. Emphasized the need to boost broadband penetration. Highlighted crucial regulatory and licensing issues. Highlighted security issues and urgent need to address them. 5 Conclusion Session 7 There is a need for boosting Internet penetration and creating Next generation access network. Urgent need to identify security threats and collaborative action to counter them including cooperation at International level. Need for clear regulatory framework, regulatory certainty, to attract investment in NGN. Urgent need to formulate IPV6 implementation policy and its implementation by all stake holders.
