5 Expectations Unless you are working with me on your writing, you are working independently on the List of Tasks. When you are finished, complete the items on the “When you are finished” list. USE THIS TIME WELL!!! If it even seems like you are distracted (even if you are on topic), I will give you a verbal warning. This means no staring into your neighbor’s eyes, comparing suntans, other forms of non-verbal communication, etc. You may walk around to stretch your legs if you need to.

6 Announcements Body Paragraph 1 due at the end of class on Wednesday. This is for a grade (formative assessment). On-Going Projects due Monday, October 5. The next grammar video is due Wednesday, October 7 (about 10 minutes). Lord of the Rings Chapter 6 is due Wednesday, October 7. You will have about 15 minutes on Monday to work on it. Retakes for Unit 1 Reading Strategies Test and the Lesson Check from last Friday are both due by 3:40 October 1st. Failure to do so will result in an official lunch detention (the whole lunch).
