5 Areas closer to the equator have a higher temperature or are hot.
Latitude The temperature of a place is determined by how far or how close an area is to the equator. Areas closer to the equator have a higher temperature or are hot. Areas further away from the equator have a lower temperature or are colder!

6 Altitude Altitude means the height above the ground.
The higher a place is, the colder it is! The lower a place is, the warmer it is!
