10. Application
Metropolia Business School takes part in the joint application system but organizes
its own entrance examination.
Joint application means that you can apply for up to six (6) study programmes in
one application. You have to place the programmes in order of preference on the application form. This order is binding and you cannot change it after the application period has ended. If you are accepted, you will be offered a study place to the institution
highest on your order of preference list and to which you have enough points to be accepted. By selecting Metropolia Business School’s degree programmes at the top of your preference list you have
greater chance to be offered a study place with us, if you do well at the entrance examination.

11. Entrance examination
Entrance examination for EBA and IBL programmes will be organized on Monday 8th of April 2019 in Finland.
Exam location: Myyrmäki campus, Leiritie 1, Vantaa
Applicant who applies for both of the degree programmes (EBA & IBL)  will be invited to one entrance examination depending on his/her application order. The result of the entrance examination will be considered for both degree programmes.
Applicants need to register for the examination. Registration will open two hours before the examination starts. Applicants need to show their official identification (passport / driving license / other ID with photo) at the registration desk.
Please note:
Metropolia is not responsible if an applicant is unable to participate in the entrance examination.
You can not take the exam abroad. Other entrance examinations will not be considered.

12. Examination structure
The entrance exam does not have any pre-reading material.
You must complete all sections of the entrance examination at
an acceptable level to gain admittance.
Applicants need to bring their own pen/pencil and eraser.
Applicants are not allowed to use a calculator, mobile phone, dictionary or anything else with the exception of the items mentioned above.
Written exam (40/100)
Essay (based on text you will receive on examination day)
Mathematical & logical thinking (basic business math)
Team task (30/100)
(team work and creative thinking, solving a business dilemma)
Personal interview (30/100) (suitability and motivation)
English language (assessed in the essay, interview and team task)

13. Examination results
The results will be announced at the latest on by .
An applicant needs to confirm his/her study place
at the latest by through studyinfo.fi.
