Objective: 7.5(A)  SWBAT explain reasons for the involvement of Texas in the Civil War such as states' rights, slavery, sectionalism, and tariffs. 7.5(B)  SWBAT analyze the political effects of the Civil War in Texas. Activity: Student will continue working on their Civil War handout. They will watch a PowerPoint presentation and complete Important People of the Civil War.
