SCONUL Access is a scheme which allows members to use each other’s libraries. It is free to join for staff and students and it allows members to borrow items (except for Full-Time Undergraduates, who are allowed reference purposes only.) An on line application form, a list of participating libraries and information about the scheme are available via the Off Campus Support Page If you have any queries please ask at the Customer Service desk or telephone for details. There are various Open Access Resources you can use to access free articles Google Scholar CORE PubMed OpenDOAR EThOS (national thesis service from the British Library) Most Academic Institutions have their own online repositories. We have one called STORE and the address is

Lynda.com contains thousands of instructional videos ranging from I.T to various business systems Need to know how to use PowerPoint more effectively? Learn how via Lynda.com For all courses completed you receive a certificate Access Lynda via your Subject Resource page

9 Reference Management Software
RefWorks is a Reference Management tool. Staffordshire University subscribes to RefWorks so you can access it using your username & password. Find out more via the RefWorks support page Mendeley is also a Reference Management tool. It is free to sign up for and use. You can access Mendeley at
