3 Scoring online Module How does the Scoring online Module work
 Your goal is to score the companies according to their belonging to different and remarkable groups of interest. A group of interest is a privileged target of your activity. Create your specific target and follow the 3 steps. 3 steps Define a working target (your main selection) or add all the companies of your subscription. Define several sub-targets representing your groups of interest. Save each selection corresponding to these groups of interest. Launch the Scoring module on your working target and follow the instructions. compuBase 2008©

4 Step 1: define your groups of interest with the selection tool
A group of interest corresponds to a micro target you are particularly interested in. Repeat the operation for any of your groups of interest. You can define up to 15 groups of interest for the same Scoring. Thanks to the uploading tool, you can also define groups of interest based on your sales data. 1 Create your groups of interest thanks to the selection tool. 2 Save your different groups of interest. compuBase 2008©

5 Step 2: do the selection you want to perform the Scoring on
Chose the criteria that will define the global target to score. Or use all the companies of your subscription. 1 Create the final target to score thanks to the selection tool. 2 Choose the « Ranking / Scoring » option 3 Click on OK compuBase 2008©

6 Step 2: Choose the Scoring module
Choose the Scoring option Then click on « Next » and you will get to the explanation page Click again on « Next ». 1 Choose Scoring 2 Next compuBase 2008©

7 Step 3: Choice of groups of interest and weighting of each group
Download here the different groups of interest saved before. You can assign a score to each group. The score corresponds to the importance given to this target. The more important the criteria is, the more closer to the maximum value the score is. 1 2 Use the button [+] to include each group of interest in the Scoring Assign a score to each group compuBase 2008©

8 Step 3: Choice of groups of interest and weighting of each group
Download here the different groups of interest saved before. You can assign a score to each of the groups. The score corresponds to the importance given to this target. The more important the criteria is, the more closer to the maximum value the score is. 1 Use the button [+] to open the saved selections that correspond to your groups of interest. Tick all the selections to analyse. You can also use created keywords with the matching tool. compuBase 2008©

9 Step 3: Choice of groups of interest and weighting of each group
Here is how the screen looks like before launching the matching. Click on « Next » to launch the Scoring With a score assigned to each group of interest At the end you will get all your groups of interest The maximum number of companies concerned by this group of interest. 10 Step 3: Launch the Scoring
The last screen invites you to name your Scoring and to launch the operation. You will receive your file in your box (Excel format). You will receive an confirming that the Scoring is in process. 11 Scoring Sample Here is the score given to each company
The Excel file includes several sheets. The 1st sheet includes data with the Scoring result The 2nd sheet includes the Top 100 of the Scoring The 3rd sheet includes an analysis on the Scoring. The last sheets are explanations on columns and methodology. 12 Business information The Scoring module is delivered for free along with the Ranking module. The deeper your information is, the more efficient your Scoring is, as you can play a lot more with accurate groups.
