In this sense, it is normally reserved for the type of poem where these features have been shaped into a pattern, especially a familiar pattern.
Another sense of "form" is to refer to these familiar patterns - these can be simple and open-ended forms, such as blank verse, or can be a complex system of rhymes, rhythms and repeated lines within a fixed number of lines, as a sonnet or villanelle is.

6. Narrative poetry is a form of poetry that tells a story, often making the voices of a narrator and characters as well
the entire story is usually written in metered verse. But they do not have to be.
The poems that make up this genre may be short or long, and the story it relates to may be complex
It is normally dramatic, with objectives, diverse and meter.
Narrative poems include epics, ballads, idylls, and lays.

The angels, not half so happy in heaven, Went envying her and me- Yes!- that was the reason (as all men know, In this kingdom by the sea) That the wind came out of the cloud by night, Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee. The term derives from a form of Ancient Greek literature, the lyric, which was defined by its musical accompaniment, usually on a stringed instrument known as a lyre.
Much lyric poetry depends on regular meter based either on number of syllables or on stress.

I Hid my Love bY JOHN CLARE I hid my love when young till I Couldn't bear the buzzing of a fly; I hid my love to my despite Till I could not bear to look at light: I dare not gaze upon her face But left her memory in each place; Where'er I saw a wild flower lie I kissed and bade my love good-bye. I met her in the greenest dells, Where dewdrops pearl the wood bluebells; The lost breeze kissed her bright blue eye, The bee kissed and went singing by, A sunbeam found a passage there, A gold chain round her neck so fair; As secret as the wild bee's song She lay there all the summer long. 10. The cinquain, also known as a quintain or quintet, is a poem or stanza composed of five lines. 
The most common cinquains in English follow a rhyme scheme of ababb, abaab or abccb.

with a strict rhyme scheme of AABBA

14. A formal, often ceremonious lyric poem that addresses and often celebrates a person, place, thing, or idea. Its stanza forms vary.
