Jesus is the “real” bread from heaven
John 6:45 – “taught… and hath learned”

4. Concern of Jesus Not what they thought of him as a teacher
But whether they learned
Making disciples (learners) – Matthew 28:18-20
Many more concerned with manner than content

5. Concern of the church must be learning
Emphasis must be on teaching – Ephesians 4:11-15
Matthew 11:29 – “take my yoke and learn of me”
What do you know about Jesus?
Learn WHAT God said BECAUSE God said it

6. We must learn to grow Sitting through a lesson is no proof of learning
Putting it into practice by “doing” is evidence of learning

7. Why Some Don’t Learn Sometimes the teacher fails
Some don’t want to learn
Would then be expected to “do”
Some already “know” more than they are “doing”
Do what you “know to do” NOW!

8. What Must I Do To Be Saved?
Hear the gospel (Romans 10:17)
Believe Jesus is Christ (Acts 8:37)
Repent of your sins (Acts 17:30)
Confess faith in Christ (Matthew 10:32)
Baptized for remission of sins (Acts 2:38)
Faithful unto death (Revelation 2:10)
