1 O Ye of Little Faith Matthew 6:25-34

2 Different degrees of faith
Great faith – Matthew 8:10 Working – Galatians 5:6 Weak faith – Romans 4:19 Dead faith – James 2:17, 24 Little faith – Matthew. 6:30; 8:26; :31; 16:8 Why did He say to these, "O ye of little faith"?

3 "O Ye Of Little Faith" Matthew 6:25-34 Why worry is wrong
Unnecessary concern about life (26,27) Worry over physical things (28-32) Why worry is wrong Foolish – won't help Rejects God's care Do we believe Matthew 6:33?

4 "O Ye Of Little Faith" Matthew 8:23-27 Our fears are usually foolish
Should be afraid of dangers – BUT: these men had been promised by Jesus that they would preach His gospel Our fears are usually foolish Fear of dying; storms; etc. Should be afraid of sin in every form

5 "O Ye Of Little Faith" Matthew 14:22-33 Peter said, "Lord, save me"
Had enough to start – more than some Peter said, "Lord, save me" Some think this is evidence of faith Jesus said he had "little faith" Believed in His POWER but NOT in His PLAN Same with many today

6 "O Ye Of Little Faith" Matthew 16:5-12
Concerned with physical over spiritual Today much concern over pollution; environment; animal treatment, etc. Jesus teaches us to be concerned about teaching we receive and what we believe Need a "Saving faith"

7 What Must I Do To Be Saved?
Hear the gospel (Romans 10:17) Believe Jesus is Christ (Acts 8:37) Repent of your sins (Acts 17:30) Confess your faith (Matthew 10:32) Baptized for remission of sins (Acts 2:38) Faithful unto death (Revelation 2:10)
