1. Meet the Author: Mrs. Lucka and her husband Tom live in the California desert. He is a Field Service Engineer. They have two children, a son and daughter and four grandchildren. She retired 10 years ago after a 30 year career in the legal field. Since then she has embraced her passion for writing and creativity. Mrs. Lucka has written poetry, one of which On Your Wedding Day was published in a book of poetry entitled Collective Whispers. She is working on her memoire. She recently published her first book A Thorn in My Rose Garden about her personal journal of living with Parkinson s Disease.
