Thomas Jefferson thought there would be land for thousandths of generations of expansion
It was a fever that hit the U.S. to move west
Americans believe that moving westward was destined and ordained by God!!
So they began expanded all the way to the Pacific Ocean

Most land was used for farming or ranching
Also moved out west for Gold!!!!
