BLOG

No recipes, celebrity gossip, fashion tips, wedding obsession, fandom, child-rearing, crafts, hobbies, etc. (imply distractions from work). Nothing negative about yourself (e.g., Im not a social media expert.). Nothing unprofessional (e.g., This is the first time Ive written a blog/made a web site/tweeted). Nothing about your social media addiction (e.g., Im on social media all day long). Nothing boring or self-centered Nothing controversial (e.g., religious, political, unless it reflects leadership). Nothing too personal (e.g., I have two cats and my brothers in rehab.). When in doubt, ask the questions: Does this content represent me as an expert in my field? Could this web content contribute to an employers bottom line or knowledge of his or her field? WHAT NOT TO SAY
