Handball
This unit will include practicing the throwing and catching techniques previously learned to incorporate that into a competitive team game of passing and catching. Each grade level will have slightly different rules and regulations.
This unit will include practicing the techniques of stickhandling, passing, shooting, defense, and goaltending in hockey lead-up games and team activities. This will be to challenge each grade level in a different way to allow them to benefit the most from the units.
The temperature is dropping and Christmas is getting very close! Make sure our students are dressing warm for school so they can stay healthy! As the students start dressing warmer and wearing boots, please make sure they bring a change of gym shoes for gym so they can participate and avoid injury! Safety is our main priority.
The students will continue to participate in sports that are geared for indoors such as handball and hockey. Hockey will be the main focus for December (there is only 3 full weeks in December).
Santa’s secret workshop is from 12/ /14. Also, the All School Field Trip to The Christmas Toy Shop is on 12/8. Make sure you are ready to finish the year strong and keep up all the hard work before Christmas break starts on 12/20.

ATHLETE SPOTLIGHT
The athlete of the month for December is Giannis Antetokounmpo. He a player in the NBA and has improved in each of his seasons that he has played in his career. In the season, he has been leading the league for points per game but now is in 2nd with 29.7 points as a power forward. These are outstanding numbers and I am sure he will be a huge contributor for the Milwaukee Bucks.
