2. Welcome
Administration - Athletics Anna Woods – Vice Principal Coaching staff: Shannon Huggins – Advisor Frank Pasillas – Varsity Lauren Beal – JV Briona Ward – Freshman

3. Practice
Practice days and times may be changing after Winter break due to weather and basketball season
Coaches will relay the information to their individual teams before returning in January
Practice times will be posted to website

4. Basketball Schedules Games and times are subject to change
Only cheer at home games
Exceptions
Bullard away games
Play-offs (Teams TBD)
*Due to scheduling: JAN 20th- Var will travel
Frosh/JV stay at EHS
Please be sure to pick up your child promptly after basketball games

5. Important information
Points re-set at end of semester
Academic Eligibility for semester
Below 2.0 for two consecutive grading periods will result in removal from team (One grading period has passed)
Need to be Academically eligible to Try-out in Spring

6. Tigers ROARS Show Respect Act Safely Roar Together Ready and Prepared
Attend all practices and assigned games on time and ready to cheer.
Excused absences from game or practice must be cleared with advisor one week after the absence.
Anytime you are asked to be in uniform, it must be
Optimism and Responsibility
Think about how you represent your school. You are the face of Edison High School
Always have a positive attitude and put forth your best effort.
You represent Edison High School even when not in uniform.
Uniform may not be worn by others outside of cheer
Act Safely
Absolutely no jewelry is allowed at practice or at games.
Be focused at practice and at games – if you are talking or not paying attention, someone can get hurt.
Roar Together
Being a member of the cheer squad means that you are a part of a TEAM. This is not an individual sport or activity. All members are required to abide by all rules set forth by the advisors & coaches.
Remember that when you miss practices or games, you are letting down your entire TEAM.
Show Respect
Treat your coaches, advisors, fellow squad members, yourself and others with respect and kindness
Be very careful about what you post on social media. Once it is out there, it can never be taken back.
Respect yourself – do not use profanity or show excessive affection while in or out of uniform.

Computech and Gaston Rally- For Fresh Team (Field Trip Slips)
December 3rd
Downtown Christmas Parade
Need to arrive by 9:00am
December 19-January 6th – Winter Break
No Practice
March 10th
Edison Cheer Banquet
6pm in Edison Cafeteria

8. Fundraising Gold Canyon Candles and Popcornopolis
Starting during Thanksgiving break
For girls who still have balances
Girls without balances will raise money for Senior Gifts and Banquet
Money due by Nov 30th to ensure delivery by Christmas
Concession sales at Home Basketball games
Jan 25th and Feb 3rd
Need parent volunteers to help work table for home girls and boys games
See’s Candy sales – Program fundraiser
Selling candy for Valentine’s Day
