3. Cheer Season – unlike any other activity Commitment is a must!!
May – March (very long – but fun!!)
Quitting – no spring activities
No substitutes – be at all practices for the full amount of time
Must have physical form completed. Some will need updated before season is over.

4. Do not use a punishment because that affects the entire team.
Cannot choose another activity or practice over cheer, like driver’s education, rec. sports, etc. & excessive absences will result in dismissal.
Games will fall before a holiday. Check the schedule & mark all games on your calendar. All cheerleaders must attend the game.

5. Grades Important: Tutoring required if struggling
Tutoring will be offered during the school day.
2:30 Students must be with their coach or
in tutoring, not roaming the halls.

6. Practices (Mandatory) - benched if missing practice
Drama/Bullying/Attitude blatant or underlying – not tolerated; 3 demerits & will be removed.
2 Demerits – Varsity girls will not receive a letter
Mandatory, schedule dr. appt. around practice times. If present at school and miss practice must have a doctor’s note.
Cheerleaders can be moved from Varsity to JV or JV to Varsity

7. Must be in practice uniform – no jewelry.

Gym days (Mon.) required practice
Other practices as needed will be scheduled or
extended. Times are subject to change. Not
having a ride, arriving late or leaving early is not
an excuse. Find a buddy if you need help.
No cell phones at practice.

8. We will do our best to prevent injuries.

10. Proper uniform must be worn in order to cheer

Hair must be a safe length for stunting.
Consult coach before making a dramatic change.

2 ISS referrals/OSS results in dismissal

13. Competitions
Competitions are required.
Cost is between $25-$50 per girl per competition

Fundraisers will go to the school’s account
for equipment, parties, gifts, competitions, mats
uniforms, nationals, etc.
