2 The effective school leader and personnel relationship
School leaders must adopt basic principles of appropriate, essential, truthful, and proactive communication while continually meeting higher standards of services. Principals must be aware of the efforts of students, and the strivings of personnel. Effective communication is essential in developing a climate of trust, mutual respect, and clarity of function.

3 The principled personnel model
Principle 1: Respect Respect is a guiding standard, even when there is a disagreement. When respect is shown, respect is earned Tolerant, accepting, appreciative, adjustable, flexible

4 Principle 2 Trust Self-confidence, strength of moral conviction, personal example and sacrifice.

6 Principle 4 Responsibility
Principals are responsible for the conduct of the faculty and staff, as well as their own personal conduct.
