SITUATION
Conceived as a cloud-based solution, it was important that the Resonate Pulse Platform was able to cope with large amounts of data and significant numbers of concurrent users. Every enterprise has its own challenges, and it was important that the platform could cope with the large and the small. In addition, data sovereignty is a sensitive point to some organizations, especially in financial services, making this a big consideration.

SOLUTION
The first candidate for the Microsoft Azure platform was some heavy-duty computational work. However it didn’t take long before the team started seeing the benefits of the cloud deployment cycle (speed). Over the years Resonate has rolled Azure technologies (such as AppFabric Caching, Managed Cache, storage upgrades, Cloud Services) in and out, and is currently building out a Big Data pipeline that uses a side of the Azure offering that had not been touched upon previously.
BENEFITS
Resonate’s main benefit was the ability of Microsoft Azure to handle a high volume of concurrent users who could be supported in an ad-hoc fashion.
Local Azure datacenters enabled the hosting of local platforms that addressed the issue of data sovereignty.
