2. You people – why do you fear nuclear energy?
In France we use nuclear energy to generate 80% of our electricity. We have done this for 30 years with no problems.
Not for us the filthy coal and the smelly oil!
Nuclear power is clean and there are no greenhouse gases released to damage the world.
I think Gaia will love us. We trade the small risk of radiation leaks and radioactive pollution for the much bigger risk of global disasters caused by climate change.
