13 HUNTERS AND GATHERERS First modern humans lived 100,000 years ago.
They survived by hunting and gathering enough food to survive. That’s why they are called HUNTERS AND GATHERERS.

14 LIVING AND WORKING TOGETHER
Early people followed the same way in life. Most of them united in bands, a band is made up of 30 people.

15 Early people spent most of their time looking for food.

16 The women gathered wild fruits, nuts, roots and seeds for them to eat.
The men hunted large animals, many of the animals are extinct.

18 The animals provided: Meat for food Skin for clothing and shelter Bones for tools Early people used stones and other resources to make tools.

19 Stone was very important in the time of the hunters and gatherers that their time is sometimes called THE OLD STONE AGE or PALEOLITHIC PERIOD
