3 Updated Monitoring Webpages Revised Program Requirements document
Purpose and Agenda Today’s webinar aims to familiarize participants with updated and existing resources that can support LEAs in preparing to meet ESSA program requirements. We will discuss: Updated Monitoring Webpages Revised Program Requirements document Universal Review requirements and existing resources [Say in between “requirements. –We”]. The goal of the webinar is that participants know what is available and where they can find it.

Our goal is for the homepage and subpages to serve as a tool-kit that will help LEAs meet ESSA program requirements. We are working to bring together existing resources so that LEAs have an easier time finding the tools and information they need. Where gaps are identified, our team is working with other units to create new resources. [Go to Monitoring homepage. Highlight resources at the top of the page. Scroll down and briefly describe the information available in each section.]

6 Revised Program Requirements Document
The Office of ESEA Programs has worked with stakeholders to revise format of the ESSA Program Requirements document You will find the latest draft of the ESSA Program Requirements at the top of the Monitoring Homepage. Updates to the program requirements document include: Revised format Revised Statutory Indicator language Expanded Demonstration of Compliance Coming Soon: Examples of Evidence Guiding Questions and links to existing resources [Most of script on slide. Follow link at top of homepage to ESSA Program Requirements Doc. Highlight the Table of Contents and universal indicators (indicators with a * beside them). Talk about how to read the Table of Contents (indicator categories and naming convention). Follow link to a universal indicator. Briefly describe each section of the table.

7 Prioritized Meaningful Stakeholder Engagement Requirements
LEAs participating in a Universal Program Review will be required to submit evidence related to the following prioritized indicators related to meaningful stakeholder engagement: SE 9.1 Stakeholder Engagement in the Consolidated Application SE 9.4 Student Performance SE 9.8 Parent Notification - English Learner Identification  SE 9.9 Outreach to Parents and Families of English Learners  SE 9.10 Parent and Family Meetings SE 9.11 Annual Consultation SE 1.1 Title I, Part A Annual Meeting SE 1.3 Parent and Family Engagement Policy SE 1.10 Comprehensive Plans SE 1.11 Targeted Support Plans SE 3.1 Provision of Parent, Family, and Community Engagement Activities All LEAs will participate in universal monitoring, which relies upon existing CDE processes and systems to determine compliance on prioritized indicators. Some prioritized indicators will require submission of additional evidence/information via an online system as part of the desk review. 

8 Existing Meaningful Stakeholder Engagement Resources
Promising Partnership Practices:  CDE, in collaboration with the State Advisory Council for Parent Involvement in Education (SACPIE), collected practices from schools and districts about working with families for student learning. Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) Family, School, and Community Partnering (FSCP) Implementation Guide: Supporting Every Student's Learning:  This MTSS FSCP Partnering Implementation Guide is a revision of the 2009 Response to Intervention (RTI) Family and Community Partnering: "On the Team and at the Table" Toolkit.  This guide is focused on improving student academic and behavioral outcomes by coordinating learning between home and school. It is a self-directed, online learning opportunity. Follow links. Highlight how Promising Practice for Dunn Elementary is related to prioritized indicator SE Highlight Disaggregated Participation Percentages resource (around the middle of the page) and how it could assist in meeting compliance elements of stakeholder engagement indicators. Talk about how these are just two examples and that they can lead you down a rabbit hole to many other applicable resources.

9 Prioritized Fiscal Requirements
LEAs participating in a Universal Program Review will be required to submit evidence related to the following prioritized fiscal indicators: FR 9.1 Supplement, Not Supplant in Titles II and IV, Part A FS 9.2 Maintenance of Effort FR 1.1 Title I, Part A Supplement, Not Supplant FR 1.4 Rank Order FR 1.6 Title I, Part A Comparability Italicized font denotes requirements that have been met through other existing CDE processes. We will need to collect additional evidence related to FR 9.1 and FR 1.4.
