Evaporation – liquid to gas; ex boiling water
Transpiration – evaporation from plants, trees
Condensation – gas cooling and forming liquid; ex dew on cold drink, foggy bathroom mirror
Precipitation – collection of water formed from condensation; ex rain, snow, sleet

4. Why do we need the water cycle?
To cycle water between abiotic factors and organic (biotic) factors!

Organisms need oxygen to make ATP (energy cells can use) from cellular respiration.
