8 Objectives Drive traffic in the local market to Convenience Stores for various products and weekly specials. Develop a program designed to influence Advertiser X sales during key promotional periods. Build awareness for Advertiser X as the best place to get a snack, beverage or last-minute necessity on the go.

9 Car Games Radio station creates a “Car Games” interactive promotion that runs adjacent to traffic reports during key drive time dayparts (Monday-Friday AM/PM drive and Weekends to target the family travelers).

10 Car Games How it works: Advertiser X sponsors traffic reports on the radio station throughout the course of the Car Games promotion. Car Games invites drivers to tune-in, listen for challenges or cues and once at their destination, text or log-on to post answers for a chance to win Advertiser X and radio station rewards/prizes. Traffic report sponsorship may include contextually relevant messaging such as: Delay on I495 at the Main Avenue exit – good news if you’re stuck – there’s an Advertiser X location 2 blocks south. Make a stop, have a cup of joe and be on your way.

11 Car Games How it works: Car Games will include “activities” for a driver to do without distracting them from the road such as: Count the number of out of state license plates you see on your way to your destination. Listen and remember how many times the radio station personality says the word Advertiser X during a specific segment. Playback the names of the songs that are featured in the next playset. Guess how many bottles of water are stocked in the Advertiser X refrigerator. How many bike riders did you pass on your way to your destination?

12 Car Games How it works: After each challenge/cue is presented, talent will direct listeners to submit their answers/results on an Advertiser X contest page on the radio station website. Contest page will include: Each day’s challenges for the listener to select and post responses. Advertiser X current promotions and any special offers. Times for tune-in for the next Advertiser X Car Games promotion opportunity.

13 Car Games How it works: All Car Games players will receive rewards for playing which may include: Bonus points applied to the radio station loyal listener club and an Advertiser X loyalty club (if applicable). Special offers from Advertiser X. Radio station memorabilia. One-three winners will be selected randomly each day to receive: Concert, entertainment or sporting event tickets. Gift cards from Advertiser X.

14 Convenient Confessions
Radio station invites listeners to share their Convenience Store confessions; i.e., late night munchies, hidden addictions and just those last-minute emergencies.

15 Convenient Confessions
How it works: Radio talent records shout-out promotional announcements alerting their listening audience that together with Advertiser X, they are looking for convenient confessions – the real truth behind your last visit to the convenience store. Only requirement is that the story is true. The most outrageous, funny, emotionally charging and popular stories will be featured on-air and will win gift cards from Advertiser X.

16 Convenient Confessions
How it works: Listeners will be directed to call in to a dedicated phone line at the station and record their “convenient confession.” “Convenient confessions” will be reviewed by the station each day and select submissions will be broadcast on-air and in the station’s stream the following day. Each “convenient confession” will be introduced by talent in the daypart for which it runs and followed by an opportunity for listeners to call-in or text in with their comments, opinions and thoughts.

How it works: Example of convenient confessions: “Advertiser X is the last chance I have to go to the bathroom before I get stuck in traffic on my way to work each morning. I really don’t need to buy anything but I feel guilty so I use the facilities, buy a bottle of water and off I go. That’s my convenient confession – so if you need to find me at about 8:15am – you know where I am!” “I was out with my buddies, had a few and really needed to coat my stomach. Sure, it’s the last thing I really needed, but that taquito from Advertiser X at 2am – really hit the spot. That’s my convenient confession and I’m stickin’ to it!!” “I was hosting a barbecue for 50 of my closest friends. My husband had ONE JOB – pick up the ice and the hot dog rolls. Guests began to arrive and the grill was on fire; that is when I noticed no hot dog rolls. I confess, maybe I forgot to tell him. Thank goodness for Advertiser X – got my buns in a pinch and that’s my confession.”

18 Convenient Confessions
How it works: Each “convenient confession” will conclude by station talent driving listeners to the station website to vote on the confession they like the best. Radio station will create an online Advertiser X “convenient confession” booth providing an alternate mode for listeners to record or submit their stories. Radio station can also set up a co-branded “convenient confession” booth in store to capture “real time” confessions. All submitted confessions will appear in the booth for listeners and Advertiser X to vote.

19 Convenient Confessions
How it works: At the end of the voting period, Advertiser X will review the convenient confessions with the most votes and award their top 3 with a $1,000 gift card to Advertiser X. All convenient confessors will receive Advertiser X coupons or nominal gift cards.

20 Advertiser X Selfies Convenience stores and truck stops are filled with goodies that are not otherwise available elsewhere. Radio station and Advertiser X partner to invite listeners to uncover these hidden treasures that can be found at Advertiser X locations and share them for all to see.

21 Advertiser X Selfies Radio station creates and produces a series of :30 promotional spots that highlight some of the more “surprising” items that can be found at Advertiser X and encourage listeners to go find some for themselves. The spots will invite listeners to shop Advertiser X, take a selfie with an item they found there and post to social media for a chance to win radio station prizing and Advertiser X gift cards.

22 Advertiser X Selfies Listeners can enter to win by:
Posting their selfie on social media such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook or Pinterest with a hashtag Uploading their selfie to the radio station’s website/Advertiser X contest page. Posting on a bulletin board at the Advertiser X location with contact information on the reverse side.

23 Advertiser X Selfies Radio station talent and staffers will get in the game by visiting Advertiser X and posting their own Advertiser X selfies on the station’s website, the station’s social media pages and their own personal social media. Station posts will promote the contest and invite their fans and followers to get to Advertiser X, snap a selfie and post it to win. Grand prizes will be awarded for the “most liked,” “most shared” and “most original” selfies each week and may include (not limited to): Concert and sporting event tickets Backstage passes Gift cards to Advertiser X

24 Advertiser X Selfies Radio station will create and host an Advertiser X Selfies contest page on the website that will include: All selfies that were uploaded to the site and those posted to social media that were properly hashtagged and Scanned versions of selfies posted at the Advertiser X location. Advertiser X weekly specials and downloadable coupons. Advertiser X hours/directions and link to a website (if relevant). The current week’s prizes for the contest. Gallery of selfies and previous winners.

25 Next Steps Gain feedback on ideas.
Station to revise based on feedback and propose schedules and costs. Plan activation timeline including commercial creative and station produced spots (if required). Discuss how campaign success will be measured. Launch campaign.
