March 2003 IEEE 802 Executive Committee The IEEE 802 Executive Committee (SEC) approve Conditional approval to forward the IEEE g Draft to Sponsor Ballot in early February 2003 Based on Letter Ballot 54 passing and all conditions of Procedure 10 being met, the new comments submitted on Letter Ballot 54 were rejected, and the IEEE g Draft was forwarded to Sponsor Ballot Matthew B. 4 March 2003 IEEE g Sponsor Ballot The Sponsor Ballot on the IEEE g Draft closed on Sunday, March 9, 2003 The results of the balloting are: 96 people in voting pool 53 affirmative votes --> 84% 11 negative votes 9 abstention votes --> 12% 73 total votes received --> 77% Matthew B. 5 Status of the Draft The current version of the draft is version 6.2
