12th Grade
English Course Options
RECOMMENDED COLLEGE PREP CLASSES for the future technical, community and 4 year college student.
AP Literature & Composition
Students who took AP Lang (otherwise, speak with your English teacher about taking course)
Often read 100+ pages & substantial writing
English Composition 1 (CHS)
Students who scored a 3 or 4 on the SBAC
Depending on grade, earn an English college credit through Skagit Valley College
Bridge to College
Students who scored a 2 or 3 on the SBAC
Students who earn a “B” or better are eligible to enter directly into credit-bearing English classes in college

4. 12th Grade English Elective Course Options
These may be taken along with either Bridge to College, English Composition 1 (CHS), or AP Literature OR they may be taken on their own. You must have 4 years of English to graduate.
