He’d lost it in a car accident when he was young. Worse than his arm, he’d lost his mother. Billy had just never questioned it, only accepted the fact that he only had one arm, one parent and one miserable life. Even then, he could see how the angels would need his mother, but he could never quite understand what they would do with his arm.
