3. Lines of Latitude and Longitude
Lines of Latitude and Longitude make up an imaginary grid system on the surface of the Earth.
They can be used to find the absolute location of something on the Earth.

4. Lines of Latitude and Longitude
They are like another specific address for points on the Earth.
Address: 100 N Capitol Ave, Lansing, MI Latitude and Longitude: 42.7° North 84.5° W

5. Latitude
Lines of Latitude run east and west around the Earth but measure distance NORTH AND SOUTH of the equator.
You can remember lines of latitude by remembering they look like a ladder, climbing up or down from the equator.
