6. In addition to wind, waterpower has been used by populations all over the world for centuries.
First of all, they caught energy obtained by the displacement of water caused by tides.
Then people discovered that the power of water could move a special wheel (a mill) and produce energy.

7. A watermill is a structure that uses a water wheel or turbine to drive a mechanical process for the production of for example flour, lumber and fabrics.
