1. Our Solar System
Our solar system is a group of planets that orbits around a star called the Sun. The Solar System contains variety of object that includes Moons , the Asteroid Belt ,the Sun , and 8 different planets.

2. The Sun The sun is a star in the center of our system.
At more than one million kilometers(621,000 mi)in diameters the sun is the largest object in our solar system.

3. Mercury
Mercury is the closest to the Sun, and it’s about 58 million kilometers from the sun.
The planet Mercury is smaller then the Earth.

4. Venus The planet Venus is he same size as the Earth.
Venus is the third bright object to the Earth but the sun and moon are the brightest to the Earth.

5. Earth Earth is the largest inner planet in the Milky Way.
Our Earth in unique from the other planets because it has life and only has a whose surface that has mostly water.

6. Mars Mars is called the red planet because its fiery red apparent.
Mars is smallest inner planet. Its has huge storms that can last for months.

7. Asteroid Belt The Asteroid Belt was first discover in 18o6.
This Asteroid Belt is between our inner and outer planets.

8. Jupiter The planet Jupiter has at least 63 moons. WOW!!.
Jupiter is the LARGEST planet in our Solar System.

9. Saturn Saturn is most likely made out of hydrogen and helium.
Saturn’s rings are visible to the Earth with a telescope.

10. Uranus Uranus is another gas planet in the Solar System
Uranus rotates on its side as its orbits the sun.

11. Neptune
Neptune is mainly made out of hydrogen and helium also its one of the windiest planet in our solar system.
This planets wind are about kilometers per hour Neptune has at least 13 moons.

12. Dwarf Planet Pluto
Pluto was know for being the smallest planet in our solar system but know is one of the many Dwarf planet.
Pluto’s moon is almost as large as Pluto it self.
Pluto is also know for mickey mouse dog Pluto

13. Comet A comet is made out of rocks , ice , and frozen gases.
Most comets are less then 10 kilometers across ,but the tall behind the comet can be as much as 100,000 kilometer long.
As a comet’s orbit brings it close to the sun , the heats the comet and turns it into frozen matter.

14. Galaxy A Galaxy is a huge ,system of gases , dust , and stars.
The galaxy contains BILLIONS of stars.
The Milky way is one of the billions of Galaxies.

15. Universe The Universe is everything that exists in space.
Millions of Galaxy clusters around the Universe are strung together like a spider.
Our Galaxy is part of a group of a galaxies called the Local Group.
