2 Icebreaker Two truths and a lie
Write down two pieces of information that are true about yourself and one piece of information that could be a lie. For example: Noah is 24 years old, Noah is from California, Noah has six siblings

4 Engaging All Students in a multi-leveled classroom
All classrooms that study a foreign language have students of different abilities and levels In order to have the most effective lessons, it is important to engage all students

5 Situation 1 In a 6th grade classroom, the students are practicing how to introduce and describe their families. Most students can say their family members’ names, ages, and what they do. Some higher level students can describe their family members’ personalities and appearances. Some lower level students are still struggling with simple sentence structure such as “My dad’s name is…”

6 Situation 2 A 12th grade class is studying environment based vocabulary such as deforestation, pollution, and desertification. How do you make this lesson relevant? How would you make this interesting? What activities would you use? How do you make sure every student understands and can pronounce the new vocabulary?

12 How to Utilize Native Speakers in Your Area
How do you utilize English speakers in Khovd? Text them, and ask if they can practice English with you for a half hour to an hour Ask for American or British tv shows and media Have trouble pronouncing a word? Call and ask a native speaker.
