Select the classes you should take your first two semesters at CMC
Log into your MyCMC Portal and:
Locate your CMC account
Register for one class
Complete your Student Education Plan (SEP)
Lists all classes needed to graduate and/or transfer
Tells you what classes you should take each semester
Tells you how long it will take you to graduate
All communication from CMC will go to your CMC account. You must check it regularly!
This is the only way we can ensure there are no holds on your account so you can register after you leave today

The schedule changes every semester
The course offerings change every semester
Not all courses are offered every semester or year
You will use the Schedule of Classes to choose what classes to take each semester.

Paying for Classes FAQ
The payment deadline is Dec. 4th for Spring classes
After this date payments are due when you register
“I have not applied for Financial Aid yet. What should I do?”
Register for classes now. Apply for financial aid at Print out your confirmation page and take it to the Financial Aid window in Student Services. They may be able to award you the BOG Fee Waiver on the spot if you qualify.
“If I register and don’t pay, what happens?”
You will eventually be dropped from your classes for non payment. You will not be responsible for the cost of the class.
“Should I wait to register until I figure out how to pay for classes?”
Do not wait to register. Classes fill up quickly and you may not be able to get the classes you want now. Register now and work with the Financial Aid Office regarding paying for classes. At worst, you will be dropped from your classes for non-payment.

14. Questions about your math, English, and reading placement?
Multiple measures are used to determine final placement in math, English, and reading courses.
We use a combination of measures:

Student Characteristics
If you feel that your assessment placement is not accurate please speak with a counselor.
