2. Ray Miller Elementary Computer Lab General Rules
Follow directions.
Be careful not to bump the computers.
Help each other if you can.
Stay in your seat.
Keep your hands and feet to yourself.
Raise your hand and wait to be called on.
Work Quietly
Walk at all times when entering and existing the Computer Lab
Explain the RME Special Points System

3. DO NOT DO THE FOLLOWING OR YOU WILL LOSE POINTS
DO NOT-Be out of your seat without permission.
DO NOT-Talk across the room to another student.
DO NOT-Talk to a student behind you.
DO NOT-Make silly sounds.
DO NOT-Sing.
DO NOT-Bother other students.
DO NOT-Type without the orange cover.
DO NOT-Roll your chair away from assigned spot.
DO NOT-Treat the computer and keyboard inappropriately.

4. Ray Miller Elementary Computer Lab Take Care of Equipment
Don’t push buttons on the computer.
Don’t stick your fingers into the computer.
Keep cords out of your mouth.
Don’t adjust keyboard trays.
Don’t change the desktop on the computer.

5. Ray Miller Elementary Computer Lab Before You Come In--
Keep your hands clean.
Go to the restroom if possible.
Get a drink if possible.
Throw away gum, candy, food, and drink.

6. Ray Miller Elementary Computer Lab When You’re Sitting Down--
Use correct posture.
Use both hands to type.
Hands on your own keyboard and mouse.
Orange cover stays on at all times during Type To Learn 4.

7. Ray Miller Elementary Computer Lab While You Are Working--
Sit in your assigned seat.
Keep your eyes on your OWN screen.
Keep your headphones on if you want to listen to the sound
Finish your work BEFORE
you do the computer activity.

8. Ray Miller Elementary Computer Lab If You Have An Emergency--
Let Mrs. Bevill know if you have to go to the restroom, put the pass on your desk and take the restroom pass.
If you sneeze, get a tissue from the front table and wipe your nose.
If you’re going to be sick, go to the bathroom or trashcan.

9. Ray Miller Elementary Computer Lab If You Have A Problem--
Ask a neighbor if they can help you.
Raise your hand if you need the teacher—Don’t get out of your seat.
Don’t yell at the teacher or wave your hands.

10. Ray Miller Elementary Computer Lab When on the Internet--
Stay on approved WebSites.

No chatting.
Never give out personal information.
DO NOT install ANYTHING!--Don’t just click “yes”!

11. Ray Miller Elementary Computer Lab If You Stumble on Something You Are Unsure About--
Call the teacher over to see it
DO NOT call your friends over to see it.

12. Ray Miller Elementary Computer Lab When It’s Time To Go--
Hang up your headphones.
Close out all programs.
Push your keyboard tray under the table.
Push your chair under the table.
Mrs. Bevill will tell you when to Line up.

13. Ray Miller Elementary Computer Lab Consequences of Inappropriate Behavior
1st--Verbal Warning
2nd--Fill Out Behavior Reflection Sheet and will give this Sheet to your Teacher
3rd--If you continue the inappropriate Behavior, another Behavior Reflection Sheet will be filled out and given to your teacher
4th—Will notify the Office
