Abstract Submission
The authors are invited to submit one page abstract of each paper that they wish to be considered for inclusion in the Oral or Poster presentation in the conference on or before 1/01/2018. Abstracts must be clearly labeled with the category of research or review paper. The entries must clearly indicate the nature of submission either for Oral or Poster presentation. The closing date for full paper submission for Oral presentation is 15/02/2018.

About the Institute
The journey of Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya (SVVV), Indore started as Shri Vaishnav Institute of Technology and Science (SVITS), which became a private university in the year The university aims at delivering quality education and pursuing cutting edge research in various disciplines including Engineering, Architecture, Management, Science and Social Sciences.
SVITS was started with Department of Textile Technology along with Electronics & Telecommunications, and Computer Science & Engineering in Textile Department was re-christened in 2016 as Shri Vaishnav Institute of Textile Technology (SVITT) as a constituent institute of SVVV Indore. SVITT holds a unique position being the only institute in the state of Madhya Pradesh to offer full time B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D programs in textiles. The institute is also taking active part in the activities of Textile Association of India, The Institute of Engineers India, Textile Cluster Development, Sample Development, Testing Services, MSME programs, Industry related projects, and R&D services to the handloom sector.
About the Conference
TEXCON-2018 is aimed at bringing together the entire extended textile fraternity on one platform for the intellectual interface of varied domains. This will also widen the interaction between the academia and industry. Moreover, this conference will open up new realms of much needed innovative approaches for making the society a better version for the future generations.
TEXCON-2018 is expected to be the initiator for new project ideas, start-ups and possible collaborations.
On behalf of the organizing committee, we are pleased to invite you to the National Conference, TEXCON on the theme “Multifacet Paradigms of Textile Industry and Research” hosted by Shri Vaishnav Institute of Textile Technology under the auspices of Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya on 9th – 10th March 2018 at Indore. The conference is intended to discuss innovative ideas related to application of textiles in various domains of life.
