Indicates there is evidence for our hope
Not expected to blindly accept

How can any intelligent being look at the universe; the human body, etc. and say all this came from nothing & without design

5. “Hope” Thayer: “to anticipate, usually with pleasure”
Expectation of that which is desired
Not a “mere wish”
Hope based on faith in God & His word
Know WHY we believe & have hope

6. “hope and resurrection of the dead” “hope of the promise”
